Job summary

International Bulk Services in Fort McMurray, AB is hiring for a full-time laborer to support loading/unloading, inventory control, and safety-compliant operations. You will follow yard rules, complete required paperwork, and participate in training to perform duties safely and effectively.

The role requires outdoor work in all weather, shift work including days, nights, and overtime, with eligibility for comprehensive benefits and RRSP matching through the employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Transloading experience is an asset.
• 1–2 years laborer/railway experience is an asset.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be physically fit.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willing to work shift work, holidays and weekends.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and background check.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of goods.
• Abiding by yard rules, safety regulations and PPE requirements.
• Accurately completing all required paperwork.
• Inventory responsibilities.
• Abide by terminals processes and procedures relating to product transfers, quality assurance, safety and operations.
• Complete required training and certifications necessary to perform duties safely and effectively.
• Loading/Unloading, Tying/Untying Loads.
