Parsons is seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer in Ontario to design transit structures including platforms, station buildings and industrial facilities, using SAP2000, SAFE, ETABS. The role emphasizes CSA code compliance and integration with BIM workflows.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (or related field) required.
- 5+ years of related work experience.
- Experience in structural drawings and design for transit projects.
- Knowledge of CSA A23-19 and CSA S-16-19 codes.
- Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design structural steel structures/buildings using SAP 2000.
- Design reinforced concrete structures using SAFE, ETABS, S-Concrete.
- Verify designs with hand calculations per CSA codes A23-19 and S-16-19.
- Markup structural steel details for BIM technologists and EITs.
- Markup rebar details for reinforced concrete structures for BIM.
- Coordinate design with other disciplines, clients, and Construction Managers.
- Prepare calculation packages.
- Site visits and issue site visit reports.
- Involvement in structural specifications.
