Job summary

Trillium Guideway Partners leads the MEP coordination for the Ontario Line NC project in Toronto, in partnership with ACCIONA Infrastructure Canada and Amico Major Projects. The role focuses on overseeing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems, coordinating with subcontractors and other engineers to integrate MEP with architectural and structural elements.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Electrical degree or post-grad certificate required.
• 3–5 years of experience as an MEP Field Engineer or MEP Coordinator in project engineering or heavy civil construction.
• Transit-related project experience is an asset.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Review and oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems on site.
• Coordinate MEP subcontractors and site visits to ensure design compliance.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate MEP with building components.
• Develop and monitor project schedules to meet deadlines.
• Supervise installation and commissioning and test system performance.
• Review as-builts and redlines; ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Prepare documentation for permits, approvals, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide regular status reports on milestones and schedule adjustments.
• Identify and resolve installation issues and escalate as needed.
• Maintain project files and communications related to MEP.
