Job summary

Mucci Farms Ltd. in Kingsville, Ontario is seeking a Transit Driver to safely transport foreign workers to and from work and other approved destinations.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of driving experience with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Valid Class B or Class C Driver’s License required.
• Valid Z Endorsement (Air Brake Certification) required.
• Ability to speak Spanish is an asset.
• Ability to cross the Canada-U.S. border is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport Mucci Farms foreign workers to and from work locations.
• Drive employees to appointments, including banks, grocery stores, medical facilities, and other approved destinations.
• Provide airport pick-up and drop-off services as required.
• Assist employees by directing questions and concerns to the appropriate department or supervisor.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Keep company vehicles clean, safe, and in good working conditions.
• Always Represent Mucci Farms in a professional and respectful manner.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with employees.

Type of Employment:

Full-Time, Permanent. This position is scheduled for five (5) days per week. Additional hours may be required, including every third Saturday and occasional holidays, based on business needs. The successful candidate must be available to work flexible hours, including day, afternoon, and midnight shifts.

Position Summary

The Transit Driver is responsible for safely transporting Mucci Farms foreign worker employees to and from work and other approved destinations. The successful candidate will be reliable, professional, and committed to providing excellent customer service while supporting the needs of a diverse workforce.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Minimum four (4) years of driving experience with a valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
• Valid Class B or Class C Driver's License required
• Valid Z Endorsement (Air Brake Certification) required
• Ability to speak Spanish is an asset.
• Ability to cross the Canada-U.S. border is an asset
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and handle situations professionally

Rate of Pay

$25.00 - $27.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
