Job summary

• Grading, sorting, and packaging produce, including cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants.
• Assembling cartons and containers according to customer requirements.
• Inspecting products and packaging materials to ensure quality standards.
• Verifying labels, stickers, and product information.
• Maintaining clean and organized workstations.
• Following food safety, quality, and sanitation procedures.
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Assisting with general cleaning and other operational duties as required.
• Supporting production goals while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Shifts: Day, Afternoon, and Midnight shifts. Must be able to work 6 days a week

Position Summary

General Labour and Packhouse Labour team members play an important role in ensuring fresh produce is graded, packaged, and prepared according to customer specifications while maintaining high standards for quality, food safety, and efficiency.

Successful candidates may be responsible for:

• Grading, sorting, and packaging produce, including cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants
• Assembling cartons and containers according to customer requirements
• Inspecting products and packaging materials to ensure quality standards are met
• Verifying labels, stickers, and product information
• Maintaining clean and organized workstations
• Following food safety, quality, and sanitation procedures
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members
• Assisting with general cleaning and other operational duties as required
• Supporting production goals while maintaining accuracy and efficiency

Candidates should be able to:

• Stand, walk, and move for extended periods
• Frequently bend, stretch, reach, and twist
• Regularly lift up to 30 lbs (14 kg) and occasionally up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
• Work in temperature-controlled packhouse and greenhouse environments
• Be comfortable working around live plants, pollination bees, and other beneficial insects
