Job summary

Kibbi is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for on-site support. You will read blueprints, test electrical and mechanical systems, and perform troubleshooting and repairs on motors, transformers, switchgear, and related equipment.

The role involves on-site servicing, fabrication or reconditioning parts using machining tools, and ensuring all work complies with safety regulations. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding work and long periods standing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with electrical/mechanical equipment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams.

Tasks

• Read blueprints to determine work requirements
• Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators and other electro-mechanical equipment
• Use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts
• Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators and other components
• Wind, assemble and install various types of coils
