Job summary

Flanagan Foodservice Inc. is seeking an AZ Transfer Driver to operate an AZ vehicle on overnights from our Sault Ste. Marie Yard. You will drive between our resident yards and the Distribution Centre, ensuring safety and compliance at all times.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid AZ license with a clean driver’s abstract and CVOR.
• Minimum of 1 year AZ class driving experience.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Adherence to Health & Safety, WHMIS and related practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles and perform pre/post trip inspections, logs and reports.
• Follow company policies and procedures and MOTr rules.
• Maintain tractor to internal and government standards and greet customers professionally.
• Complete health and safety, food safety and quality training relevant to the role.
• Report any safety or integrity concerns of items received and distributed.

We are looking for an AZ Licensed Transfer Driverto work overnights out of our Sault Ste. Marie Yard.

Position Summary:

As an AZ Transfer Driver with Flanagan Foodservice, you will be required to drive an AZ vehicle with up to two trains (lead and pup) between our resident yards and the Distribution Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and professionally operate company vehicles and equipment including conducting pre and post trip inspections, completion of required logs and reports.
• Follow the Company’s policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance to Ministry of Transportation rules and regulations
• Ensure all safety standards are followed at all times
• Maintain tractor as required to internal and government standards
• Greet internal and external customers and suppliers professionally upon arrival
• Follow safe and efficient work procedures to meet customer requirements including maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Complete and keep up to date on all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality Assurance training pertinent to the role
• Responsible for reporting any and all concerns related to the Health & Safety, safe handling and integrity of all items received, stored and distributed by Flanagan Foodservice
• Adherence to all Health & Safety, Food Safety and WHMIS practices
