Job summary

Flanagan Foodservice Inc. is seeking an AZ Transfer Driver to work overnights from our Sault Ste. Marie Yard. You will operate an AZ tractor with lead and pup configurations, performing pre- and post-trip inspections and maintaining logs.

The role offers a competitive hourly wage of 26.04–28.70 CAD, plus a $2.00/hr driver incentive, daily home time, comprehensive benefits, pension and RRSP, and a safety-focused, family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• AZ license with clean driver’s abstract and CVOR.
• At least 1 year AZ driving experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Adherence to Health & Safety, Food Safety and WHMIS practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles and conduct pre/post trip inspections.
• Complete required logs and reports; follow policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Ministry of Transportation rules and safety standards.
• Maintain tractor to standards and greet customers professionally.
• Complete training on Health & Safety, Food Safety and QA related to the role.
• Report concerns related to Health & Safety and product integrity.

We are looking for an AZ Licensed Transfer Driver to work overnights out of our Sault Ste. Marie Yard.

Position Summary:

As an AZ Transfer Driver with Flanagan Foodservice, you will be required to drive an AZ vehicle with up to two trains (lead and pup) between our resident yards and the Distribution Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and professionally operate company vehicles and equipment including conducting pre and post trip inspections, completion of required logs and reports.
• Follow the Company’s policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance to Ministry of Transportation rules and regulations
• Ensure all safety standards are followed at all times
• Maintain tractor as required to internal and government standards
• Greet internal and external customers and suppliers professionally upon arrival
• Follow safe and efficient work procedures to meet customer requirements including maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Complete and keep up to date on all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality Assurance training pertinent to the role
• Responsible for reporting any and all concerns related to the Health & Safety, safe handling and integrity of all items received, stored and distributed by Flanagan Foodservice
• Adherence to all Health & Safety, Food Safety and WHMIS practices

Required Qualifications:

• Valid AZ license with a clean driver’s abstract and CVOR
