The Transactions and Valuation Manager manages the evaluation and sourcing of on- and off-market investment opportunities. This role collaborates closely with stakeholders during the acquisition and valuation processes, including asset management and capital management teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize and meet goals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

1. Work closely with stakeholders during acquisitions and valuations, including asset management and finance teams.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders to ensure a strong pipeline of acquisitions.
3. Review and evaluate investment offerings from brokers, asset managers, and owners.
4. Perform financial analysis of properties, tenants, and market data, including rent and sales comparisons.
5. Conduct in-depth industry, market, and competitor research to support investment decisions.
6. Review industry surveys, benchmarks, and economic/demographic trends.
7. Travel to inspect properties, coordinating with third-party consultants and experts.
8. Organize scheduling for third-party inspections and evaluations.
9. Support negotiations and provide advice during transactions.
10. Adhere to internal policies and procedures.
11. Organize regular property valuations in collaboration with asset management and finance teams.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, or related field.
• At least three years of experience in financial analysis, including NPV, IRR, Cash Flow, and ratio analysis.
• Strong financial modeling skills, capable of creating DCF and waterfall models from scratch.
• Proficient in handling large datasets in Excel.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
