Summary

This role develops Associate capability by leading the deployment of the Education & Training Pillar at the site. It reports to the Site Continuous Improvement Manager and oversees responsibilities such as developing training, coaching Associates on E&T standards, maintaining meeting cadence, health checks, 90-day and 1-year implementation plans, charter, KPIs, and recognition. The goal is to enhance plant performance in line with Mars Supply Excellence and the site’s Business Needs.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Facilitate role profiling to identify skills gaps and develop corresponding training programs.
  • Create Step-up Cards based on role profiles.
  • Maintain and update factory skills matrices.
  • Lead Factory Skills Gap Assessments to prioritize annual training plans.
Knowledge Management & Transfer
  • Apply knowledge management methodologies for maintaining and sharing recorded knowledge.
  • Design and develop training with Subject Matter Experts.
  • Conduct training & coaching on E&T processes, systems, and tools.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Identify resources needed for training.
  • Coordinate with HR and Department Managers to update training materials and integrate changes into the annual training plan.
Context & Scope
  • Prioritize CI and E&T initiatives supporting the site’s Business Needs.
  • Assist leadership in decision-making regarding associate performance.
  • Operate within established guidelines, processes, and safety policies.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing or a 2-year technical/associate degree with strong communication and facilitation skills.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Proficiency with digital training tools and video editing.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
  • Experience with training program development and facilitation.
