The Role

As a Training Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of impactful training, mentorship, and onboarding experiences across all Gibbons businesses. You’ll help craft meaningful content, coordinate sessions, support new hires during orientation, and maintain the digital systems that power our learning programs. You’ll also help measure the effectiveness of our training efforts to ensure we’re always leveling up.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of training programs, mentoring tracks, and internal workshops (online and in-person).
  • Support and co-deliver new hire orientation sessions, helping newcomers feel welcome and equipped to succeed.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to gather feedback and continually improve training materials.
  • Help manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), including course uploads, learner tracking, and troubleshooting.
  • Create reports on training ROI and participation metrics to support continuous improvement.
  • Support video-based learning initiatives—video editing skills a bonus, but we’ll train you if you’re new to it!
  • Keep training content organized, updated, and aligned with the Gibbons Business System.
  • Occasionally facilitate or moderate internal learning sessions or team development workshops.
  • Act as an internal ambassador for a growth mindset and lifelong learning across the company.

Requirements

  • A passion for learning, people development, and hospitality.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Confidence with digital tools; experience with LMS platforms is a plus.
  • Curiosity, empathy, and the ability to connect with a wide range of people and roles .
  • Basic knowledge of video editing is a bonus, but we’re happy to teach you!
  • Experience in hospitality or service-based industries preferred but not required.

Salary And Team Perks

  • $57,000-$65,000 annual salary based on experience and qualifications.
