Job summary

Johnston Group Inc. is seeking a Trainer & Quality Analyst to lead training for the Life & Disability Services Team and to perform daily quality reviews of completed work requests.

You will coach trainees, develop training materials, revise guides, and create checklists to support ongoing learning and high standards. This role operates in a hybrid Winnipeg-based setting (three days in-office per week), enabling you to ensure the team has proper training, tools, and supports to deliver excellent

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in a Trainer or Adult Education role.
  • Experience in group benefits or insurance industry is an asset.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work closely in a team and independently when required.
  • Adaptable with problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Bilingual English/French is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive training for the Life & Disability Services Team.
  • Perform daily quality reviews on completed work requests.

Job description

The Trainer & Quality Analyst is responsible for providing the overall training for the Life & Disability Services Team along with performing daily quality reviews on completed work requests.

Your daily activities will be diverse as you develop and improve administrative processes. You will provide coaching and mentorship for trainees and existing team members, conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy and high standards are consistently met. Then you'll share feedback, offer targeted recommendations, and track trends to steer future training. This will include developing new training materials, revising guides, and creating checklists to support ongoing learning.

The Trainer & Quality Analyst role is an essential component of the team as it ensures that proper training, tools, and supports are in place allowing the team to be successful in performing their job while providing our clients with excellent customer service.

*Hybrid working model based out of our Winnipeg, MB office, with three days in-office per week.

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Trainer or related Adult Education position
  • Experience in group benefits or insurance industry is an asset
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work closely on a one-on-one basis, in a team environment and self-motivated to work independently when required
  • Ability to adapt and generate effective solutions on situations/issues as they are presented
  • Detail oriented and well-developed analytical skills
  • Open to feedback and willing to make changes based on feedback provided
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
