Job summary

Novo is seeking a trainer to serve our clientele in Eastern Quebec. You will be part of the Prevention team in the Quebec office, providing OHS training on lifting devices and contributing to market development strategies.

Autonomous, good communicator and able to persuade. You will interact with clients, build trusted relationships, and tailor training to customer needs. The role involves content creation, LMS collaboration, and related administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• University-level training in OHS or related field
• OHS certificate is preferred
• Experience as an OHS trainer for lifting devices is a plus
• Certified trainer for lifting equipment (forklift, overhead crane) is an asset
• French language fluency in spoken and written

Responsibilities

• Provide OHS training in the workplace.
• Identify training needs of employers or other services.
• Write or update training content in line with laws and regulations.
• Collaborate on training content for our LMS.
• Complete reports, scheduling, client follow-ups and expense accounts.

Novo is looking for a trainer to serve our clientele in Eastern Quebec. You will be part of the Prevention team in the Quebec office. Your role will mainly consist of providing training on lifting devices and participating in market development strategies.

The Selected Person Will Carry Out The Following Tasks

• You will provide OHS training in the workplace.
• You will identify the training needs of employers or any other complementary service.
• You will write or update training content in accordance with laws and regulations in force.
• You will collaborate in the creation of training content in our training platform (LMS).
• You will be able to carry out specific mandates and carry out other related tasks related to your files (completion of reports, making appointments, follow-ups with clients, expense accounts, etc.).

Your Qualifications And Talents

• University diploma with specialization in an appropriate discipline (occupational health and safety [OHS], industrial relations) or any other combination of training and relevant experience
• University certificate in OHS
• ASP Construction card (an asset)
• Experience as an OHS trainer for lifting devices (company and construction site construction)
• Recognized trainer – trainer approval
• Certified trainer for lifting equipment (forklift, overhead crane, lifting platform)
• Interest in business development (an asset)
• Appropriate command of spoken and written French
• Good knowledge of Microsoft suite software Office
