Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. in Lévis, Canada, is seeking a motivated IT support intern or student to assist Level 1 requests, hardware and software, and participate in ongoing projects. You will join a close-knit team that prioritizes induction and training.

Qualifications

• Must be a Vocational (DEP) or college (AEC/DEC) student in IT support.
• Ability to work independently to find solutions.
• Analytical and diagnostic skills.

• Strong interest in customer support.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support to internal users (hardware, telephony, printers, software).
• Interact professionally with colleagues to ensure high satisfaction.
• Configure and install computers for new employees.
• Document interventions in the ticketing system.
• Ensure a positive employee experience from onboarding.
• Participate in projects driven by curiosity and learning.
• Contribute to IT infrastructure improvements.

What you will do on a daily basis

• Provide first-level IT support to internal users (computer hardware, telephony, printers, internet, business applications, etc.)
• Interact professionally with colleagues to ensure a high level of satisfaction
• Configure and install computers for new employees
• Use the ticketing system to document interventions
• Provide an exceptional employee experience from the moment new recruits arrive
• Participate in projects based on your curiosity and thirst for learning
• Contribute to the enhancement of the IT infrastructure

Compensation

Currency: CAD

Salary Minimum: 35,000
