Manac in Canada is seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to diagnose, repair, weld, and maintain a range of trailers and equipment in a fast-paced shop.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience, strong welding skills, and the ability to read schematics, with regular night shifts from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Compensation ranges from CAD 25.96 to 37.46 per hour, with benefits, a company-matched pension, overtime, training, and a retention bonus.

Competenze

• 3–5 years of experience as a trailer mechanic, heavy duty mechanic
• Strong welding skills
• Experience with trailer frames, axles, suspensions, brakes, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and work orders
• Strong understanding of shop and job-site safety practices

Mansioni

Job description

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, welding, and maintaining a variety of trailers and related equipment. • Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial trailers.
• Complete welding and fabrication work (MIG required; stick/TIG an asset).

Qualifications and requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a trailer mechanic, heavy duty mechanic

Schedule

• Regular night shift: Monday to Thursday, 3;00 PM – 1;00 PM
