Aurum Truck & Trailer Ltd. is seeking a full-time Journeyperson Trailer Heavy Duty Mechanic based in Edmonton, AB.

Aurum Truck & Trailer is a newly constructed truck and trailer maintenance facility with a focus on TC406/407 tanker trailers. Aurum Truck & Trailer is a subsidiary of Chambers Transportation Group Ltd., which is proud to have been named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for the last 7 years.

About the Position:

• Trailer repair- PMs, electrical work, brakes, suspension & product pump rebuild.
• Basic tools required for the position.
• Diagnostic experience.
• Boot and tool allowance

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 Driver License.
• Journeyperson status required
• May work above shoulder level with power and /or hand tools weighing 15 pounds or less and in confined spaces.
• Must meet the physical requirements of the position and have mobility, vision, hearing, sense of smell, and dexterity levels appropriate to the duties performed.
• May stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift, and carry items weighing 50 lbs. or less.
• Must be willing and able to work at heights up to 15 feet.

Schedule:

• Day shift, 6:00am-5:30pm, Wednesday to Wednesday, 8 days on / 6 days off
• Afternoon shift, 11:30am-10:00pm, Monday to Thursday, 8 days on / 6 days off

Wage:

• $41.62/hour

Pay: From $41.62 per hour
