Caron Transportation Systems in Sherwood Park, AB, is seeking a Trailer Mechanic to join our growing team. The role emphasizes maintaining trailers, inspecting and repairing all systems, and ensuring CSA B620 compliance. Experience with B620 is an asset and a valid CVIP is preferred.

The position operates Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a focus on safety and reliability. Earn base pay with overtime, benefits, RRSP matching, PPE, and a referral bonus.

• Journeyman or Apprentice with 2+ years directly related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled testing and certification of highway tanks for the transportation of dangerous goods in accordance with CSA B620 standards
• Repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot trailer tank systems and components
• Read and understand work orders, task procedures, and interpret technical manuals
• Write work orders, diagnose the cause of failures, and carry out repairs according to manufacturer’s specifications
• Mentor and assist apprentices, if applicable
• Perform inspections as per the Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program as required, only if licensed to do so
• Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management

We are looking for a Trailer Mechanic preferably with B620 experience to join our growing team at our Sherwood Park terminal. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Trailer Mechanic reports directly to the Shop Supervisor and/or Lead Hand, the Trailer Mechanic is responsible for maintaining trailers in accordance with the Caron Transportation Maintenance Manual. Duties include inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing all systems and components of transport trucks and trailers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
