Onni Group of Companies in Vancouver is seeking a reliable Flagger to join our construction team. You will provide traffic control in Vancouver work zones year-round, reading traffic control plans and guiding motorists safely through sites.

Training and knowledge of regulations are provided. You will work outdoors, lift up to 50 pounds, and contribute to a safe, collaborative job site with a focus on service and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Traffic Management Manual.
• Valid TCP Certificate.
• Outdoor work at construction sites in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Controls movement of vehicular traffic through construction projects.
• Read and manage traffic management plans.
• Perform traffic management field audits.
• Distribute traffic control signs and markers in designated patterns.
• Control traffic using signs, hand, and flag signals.
• Warn workers of unsafe driver behavior.
• Inform drivers of detour routes through sites.
• Provide high levels of customer service with on-time arrival and well managed work zones.
• Keep equipment organized and in working order.
