Job summary

Serpent River First Nation is hiring Traffic Control Persons (Flaggers) for immediate start in Ontario. You will direct traffic through work zones and communicate with crew and the public to maintain safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates are ready to work outdoors in varying weather, with training and certifications provided as needed, and with reliable transportation considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Eligible under ISETs SRFN 201 and meet one or more criteria listed.
• Unemployed, underemployed, EI, or OW recipients may apply.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation is an asset.

In partnership with Milestone we are currently hiring Traffic Control Persons (Flaggers) for immediate employment.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control traffic safely through construction and work zones.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and the public.
• Maintain a safe work environment for workers, motorists, and pedestrians.
• Follow all safety regulations and company procedures.
• Set up and remove traffic control devices as required.

Requirements

Applicants must be eligible under the ISETs Program (SRFN 201) and meet one or more of the following criteria:

• Currently unemployed
• Underemployed
• Receiving Employment Insurance (EI)
• Receiving Ontario Works (OW)

Additional requirements:

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation is considered an asset.
• Strong communication and safety awareness.
• Willingness to complete any required training and certifications.
