Job summary

Glen Group is seeking a dispatcher to own daily operations, coordinating TCPs, LCTs, and supervisors across multiple sites in British Columbia. The role emphasizes handling pressure, staying organized, and clear communication to keep projects moving and clients satisfied.

Responsibilities include managing changes, staffing, and real-time problem solving, with a mix of office and remote work. Flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, are required.

Qualifications

  • Must handle pressure and run operations effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  • Excellent communication skills, clear and professional.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities helpful.
  • Experience in dispatching, logistics, or traffic control preferred.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word; dispatching systems experience an asset.

  • Communicate with field crews, supervisors, and clients throughout the day.
  • Ensure all sites are fully staffed and running efficiently.

  • Track attendance, availability, and shift coverage.
  • Support operations and improve workflow processes.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Dispatch and coordinate TCPs, LCTs, and supervisors across multiple job sites
  • Manage last-minute changes, call-outs, and schedule gaps
  • Communicate with field crews, supervisors, and clients throughout the day
  • Ensure all sites are fully staffed and running efficiently
  • Solve problems in real time and adjust plans quicklyTrack attendance, availability, and shift coverage
  • Support operations and improve workflow processes
What We’re Looking For
  • Someone who can handle pressure and run operations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (clear, confident, and professional)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience in dispatching, logistics, or traffic control (preferred)
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and dispatching systems
  • SiteDocs experience is an asset
  • Reliable, accountable, and able to take initiative
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and high-volume operations
  • Mix of office and remote work (not fully remote)
  • Must be flexible with shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • $50-$60k annually with benefit eligibility
