Job summary

Glen Group is seeking a proactive Dispatcher/Operations Coordinator to join our Richmond team. You will dispatch and coordinate TCPs, LCTs, supervisors, and crews across multiple job sites, while adapting quickly to last-minute changes to keep projects on track.

Based in Richmond, BC, this role requires strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to work under pressure. Evening and weekend availability may be required with an annual salary of $50,000–$60,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in a Dispatcher or similar operations coordination role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, professional and clear.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in traffic control, logistics, or field operations is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and coordinate TCPs, LCTs, supervisors, and field crews across multiple job sites.
• Manage last-minute changes, callouts, and schedule gaps.
• Communicate with field crews, supervisors, and clients throughout the day.
• Ensure sites are staffed and running efficiently.
• Resolve issues in real time and adjust plans quickly.
• Track attendance and shift coverage; support workflow improvements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Solve problems in real time and adjust plans quickly


• Track attendance, availability, and shift coverage


• Support operations and improve workflow processes

Requirements

• Must have previous experience in a Dispatcher or similar operations coordination role


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


• Excellent communication skills (clear, confident, and professional)


• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment


• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills


• Experience in traffic control, logistics, or field operations is an asset


• Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and dispatching systems


• SiteDocs experience is an asset


• Reliable, accountable, and able to take initiative


• Ability to handle pressure and make quick operational decisions

Work Environment

• Fast paced and high-volume operations


• Based out of our Richmond office with possibility of some hybrid after 6 months but no guarantee


• Must be flexible with shifts, including evenings and weekends


• $50-$60k annually with benefit eligibility
