Job summary

Lineage Logistics is hiring for a role based in Delta, BC, Canada. The position focuses on coordinating driver activities, logging cash, and ensuring accurate shipment records.

You will work with warehouse and transportation teams to keep documents up to date and drive efficient loading and unloading operations. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, basic math ability, and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for delivery drivers and log cash received.
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure shipping/receiving documents are completed accurately.
• Verify and count products in the system to ensure data accuracy.
• Enter data into the WMS scheduler and assist with rescheduling appointments as needed.

Starting Pay Rate: 22.00Shift: Monday - Friday 8am-4pmCompile and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments. Plan and direct driver's assignments including checking them in, assigning their doors, and checking them out once the load is complete.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESServe as first point of contact for delivery driversMay receive, count and log cash received by carriersCoordinate with warehouse and transportation to make sure shipping/receiving documents are completed accurately and timelyVerify and count products to confirm data accuracy in systemNotify carriers and key team members of pending, no shows and/or unscheduled arrivalsEngage with drivers and reschedule appointments if necessaryEnter data into the warehouse management system (WMS) schedulerADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)Basic math skills may be required at some facilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers; English may be requiredProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear, may be required at some facilitiesMay be required to lift a minimum of 20 lbs./9 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facilityAbility to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if neededMust be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loudPay Range:$20.10 - $31.39Why Lineage?This is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
