Job Summary:
The Americas Legal Department is looking for a Trading Agreement Negotiator with experience in negotiating repurchase agreements and ISDAs. We are looking for a versatile, dynamic team player who can demonstrate all-round excellent technical, client care, organizational and communication skills.
We Require:
A minimum of 5 years prior experience negotiating repurchase agreements and ISDA/CSAs.
Knowledge of other trading agreement types is a plus.
A good understanding of close-out netting opinions.
Sufficient experience to take on responsibility to support the update or creation of standard templates and negotiation manuals, as required.
Ability to demonstrate a high degree of commercial awareness and to make sound judgment calls in a fast-moving business environment, together with an ability to identify and manage legal and contractual risk.
Additional Skills:
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to forge good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively on group projects and independently on individual assignments.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to developing competency in unfamiliar practice areas.
