Seaspan ULC is hiring a Trade Supervisor, Crane & Rigging, to lead a team in our North Vancouver shipyard. You will coordinate crane and rigging trade activities, ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery of projects, and work closely with management to set priorities and resolve issues.
Required are 5+ years in crane/rigging trades, 3+ years in supervision, and a strong safety mindset. On-site role at 50 Pemberton Ave. North Vancouver with competitive pay and benefits.
The Trade Supervisor, Crane & Rigging is responsible for leading their team of tradespeople by coordinating and overseeing completion of trade activities within the Shipyard. The Trade Supervisor will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely and in compliance with all regulations and company standards. The position reports directly to an Area Manager and requires significant interaction with Trade Management.
Note: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at 50 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver.
The estimated salary for this position is $115,000-$127,000. In determining final salary, Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidate’s skillset and experience as well as position location and internal equity. The final base salary offer will be at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.

This position may involve defense articles and/or technical data regulated by the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and the U.S. Arms Export Control Act.
