Job summary

The Ian Martin Group is seeking a Trade Reconciliation Specialist - Expert for a 12-month contract in Toronto, hybrid (3 days on site). The role centers on processing transactions within the Securities Lending Operations team and coordinating closely with Front Trading Desks and other stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in financial instruments and capital markets, strong Excel VBA skills, and a keen eye for accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in financial instruments, capital markets and operations.
• Experience in high-value trade reconciliation.
• Demonstrated strategic team player with the ability to grow and motivate others
• The ability to adhere to high levels of accuracy in a fast paced environment
• Strong MS Office knowledge Process and time management skills
• Advanced usage of MS Office Word and Excel (Vlookup, pivot, macro, VBA coding)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for working with a dynamic team processing transactions within our Securities Lending Operations team. Close coordination with Front Trading Desks and other internal & external stakeholders.
• Collection of borrower lending fees, client revenue processing and reconciliation across all platforms and systems.
• Support the Bank of Canada Triparty program as needed.

• Pay Rate: $34.10/hr
• Contract Length: 12 months with possibility for extension

Trade Reconciliation Specialist - Expert for one of our top clients. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they're now expanding their team to meet rising demand.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for working with a dynamic team processing transactions within our Securities Lending Operations team. Close coordination is required with Front Trading Desks and other internal & external stakeholders.Other responsibilities include collection of borrower lending fees, client revenue processing and reconciliation across all platforms and systems. Additionally, this desk will be required to support the Bank of Canada Triparty program.

Must-have Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in financial instruments, capital markets and operations.
