Job summary

Koch Engineered Solutions is seeking a Tower Mechanic (Skilled Labor) to operate in gas plant and refinery environments. The role requires working at heights and around cranes, handling parts and materials, and serving as a Confined Space Safety Attendant.

Candidates should have safety certifications, a proactive safety mindset, and the ability to read and fill out required paperwork. Collaboration and following directions are essential for success.

Qualifications

Tower Mechanic (Skilled Labor) (Maintenance)

What would be required in your role

• Working in gas plant and refinery environments.


• Working at heights.

The experience you will bring

• Knowledge of vessel internals, including trays, packing, demister pads, external piping, etc...


• Ability to read simple blueprints.


• Experience blinding and deblending process vessels.


• Prior experience as a Confined Space Safety Attendant.


• Prior experience working in vessels or with vessel internals.


• Prior experience working in gas plants or refineries.


• First Aid (Level A or C)


• WHMIS


• Basic Safety Orientation (OSSA)


• Many other tickets would be considered an asset, please list all tickets when applying.

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.


• The ability to climb stairs and ladders.


• The ability to stand for long periods of time.


• The ability to stay focused during slow periods.
