Koch Engineered Solutions is seeking an Apprentice Steamfitter/Pipefitter (Maintenance) to support plant and refinery projects. The role involves assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems, with work at heights and coordination with crane operations.

A safety-focused mindset and teamwork are essential. Preferred candidates will have basic drawings interpretation skills and experience with basic safety programs and documentation.

Formación

  • Must have pipe fabrication, assembly, and installation experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex instructions and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of basic safety programs and documentation.
  • Positive, safety-conscious attitude and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

  • Work in a variety of plant and refinery environments.
  • Install equipment at heights using access methods (man basket, AWP, ladders).
  • Work with cranes and rigging to support operations.
  • Maintain safety procedures and complete required documentation.

  • Working in a variety of plant and refinery environments.
  • Equipment installation at heights using multiple access methods. (Man Basket, AWP, Ladders).
  • Apprentice Steamfitter/Pipefitter certification.
  • Working in a dynamic environment as a team.
  • Working with cranes and rigging.

  • Rigging and Hoisting experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex instructions and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge and experience with basic safety programs and documentation.

  • Ability to work with others as a team.
  • Capable of working safely in Confined Space Environments

What will put you ahead
  • Basic pipe fabrication, assembly, and installation experience.
  • Rigging and Hoisting experience.
  • Basic drawing interpretation skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with basic safety programs and documentation.

The experience you will bring
  • Experience working with flares and combustion equipment.
  • Experience working in plant or refineries environments.
  • Experience with pressure testing piping systems.
  • Experience with tubing and bending.
  • Prior experience with field run installation.
  • First Aid (Level A or C)
  • Basic Safety Orientation (OSSA)
  • Many other tickets would be considered an asset, please list all tickets when applying.
  • Experience working at heights.
Physical requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 350'.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
