Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Tow Truck Driver role located in North York, ON. The Tow Truck Driver will operate tow trucks to safely transport disabled, damaged, or illegally parked vehicles to designated locations. Daily responsibilities include responding to dispatch calls, providing roadside assistance such as jump-starts or tire changes, and securing vehicles to the tow truck following company safety procedures. The role involves communicating clearly with customers and dispatch, documenting each service call, and maintaining the tow truck’s cleanliness and basic mechanical condition. The Tow Truck Driver is expected to follow all traffic and safety regulations, represent the company professionally, and provide courteous service at all times.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Truck Driving skills and experience operating a Tow Truck or similar heavy vehicle.
• Candidates should possess practical Roadside Assistance and TOW certificate and TOW skills, including safe vehicle recovery and basic on-the-road support.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, dispatch, and team members.
• Valid commercial or appropriate local driver’s license AZ. DZ, and GZ with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations in North York and surrounding areas.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical ability to lift, secure, and maneuver equipment and vehicles safely.
• Previous towing or transportation industry experience is an asset, but motivated candidates with relevant driving experience will be considered.
