Job summary

RED Hospitality & Leisure is seeking a friendly hotel Concierge to provide top-notch guest services at the front desk. You will offer area information, assist with dining, activities, transportation and sightseeing requests, and coordinate with staff to fulfill guest needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide service at the Hotel Concierge Desk and assist guests with information and reservations.
• Assist guests with area information: dining, activities, transportation, sightseeing, etc.
• Initiate and follow up on guest requests received in person or via other communications.
• Confirm guest requests and reservations, and book excursions.
• Research and provide guests with additional information as requested.
• Communicate guest resolutions with appropriate staff/departments on property.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

• Providing service at the Hotel Concierge Desk
• Providing guests with area information – dining, land and water activities, transportation, sightseeing, etc.
• Initiate and follow up with guests’ requests received in person and through other communications
• Confirming guest requests and reservations
• Booking guests onto excursions
• Researching and providing guests with additional information as requested by the guest
• Communicating guest resolutions with appropriate Staff/Departments on property
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Management Team
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent from an accredited institution (preferred)
• Previous experience in customer service, concierge and/or equivalent work experience a PLUS

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Must be able to walk on various types of surfaces including rough terrain, sitting, standing, maintaining balance, and working alone.
• Must be able to work various work settings such as exposure to sunlight and outside temperature.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all persons contacted during the work.
