Conestoga College is seeking a Total Rewards Consultant to provide expertise in compensation, job evaluation, and benefits administration. The role supports academic wage calculations and ensures compliance with collective agreements and policies.

Based in Ontario, the position operates on a hybrid schedule with on-site work at the Kitchener campus as needed, while completing most duties remotely. The incumbent will advise HR staff and managers on classification and wage matters.

Formación

• Three-year diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labour Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive experience in compensation, job evaluation, benefits administration, or total rewards, preferably within a complex unionized environment.
• CHRP or CHRL designation (completed or in progress) is considered an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in interpreting policies, collective agreements, and related legislation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilidades

• Job evaluation, classification, and compensation: review and revise job descriptions; evaluate and classify positions; conduct market analyses.
• Benefits and pension administration: administer group insurance, pension, and related records; coordinate enrolments and changes.
• Leaves and retirement support: administer leave benefits; explain retirement processes; monitor leave-related eligibility.
• Provide guidance to HR staff and managers on compensation, classification, and wage calculations; prepare reports and analyses.
