Job summary

Google in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, seeks an AI Outcome Customer Developer for Forward Deployed Development to drive enterprise-grade AI solutions across the full technical lifecycle. You will collaborate with account teams and Customer Developers during the technical evaluation phase, shaping proposals and ensuring rapid, viable delivery of Gemini models and Vertex AI integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Technical delivery strategy experience with interfacing with product or development organisations.
• System design or code proficiency in languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
• Orchestration framework experience with LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
• Enterprise integration experience covering APIs, ECMs, identity, Cloud infrastructure, or AI/ML model deployments.
• Executive communication skills capable of translating deep technical integration issues into business impact (preferred).
• Experience orchestrating specialised technical resources to execute complex builds (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Partner with account teams and practice Customer Developers during technical evaluation phases to assess feasibility and shape long-term adoption proposals.
• Lead upfront technical design for enterprise-grade AI solutions ensuring secure integration of models, agents, and connectors into data pipelines and identity providers.
• Diagnose and resolve complex customer implementation issues at the code level and test workarounds to clear roadblocks.
• Serve as liaison to core Product and Engineering teams, troubleshooting deployment blockers and translating field feedback into feature requests.
• Steer implementation strategy through technical authority while owning the technical delivery reality with customer teams.
