Job summary

Artefact seeks a Senior Deployed AI Engineer in Montreal to design and deliver end-to-end AI products built on Gemini Enterprise and Vertex AI. You’ll own front-end interfaces, back-end services, data pipelines, deployment, and evaluation in client projects.

You’ll work across full stack, data engineering, and cloud infrastructure, collaborating with clients and mentoring peers while advancing production-ready AI systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software or data engineering with AI tooling experience.
• Strong hands-on with Google's Gemini stack: Gemini Enterprise, Vertex AI, or ADK.
• Experience with front-end (React) and at least one backend framework.
• Hands-on with RAG, embeddings, vector search, and agentic frameworks.
• GCP expertise; Azure or AWS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end AI applications across the stack, from UI to infra.
• Design and configure Gemini Enterprise and Google AI stack for clients.
• Create production-grade pipelines, evaluations, and monitoring.
• Engage with clients, scope solutions, and contribute to pre-sales demos.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to internal accelerators.
