ABC Recycling Ltd. is seeking a Torch Cutter to be based out of our Prince George, B.C. location, but may require working offsite projects and occasional travel to other ABC Recycling yards. The job holder is responsible for cutting over-sized pieces of scrap metal to marketable size using oxy/propane fueled cutting torches. Typically, these large pieces are too thick or too large to be processed effectively with mobile or stationary shears. The ideal candidate will have experience using a plasma/oxy torch; however, we are willing to train the right person for this position. Most of all a good work ethic and a willingness to learn are the keys to success in this role.
