Job summary

ABC Recycling Ltd. is seeking a Class 1 Truck Driver to haul scrap metal to and from our Fort St John, BC location and occasionally to other ABC locations. A clean driving record and experience with roll-offs, end dumps, and Hiab cranes are required. 3–4 years' experience is preferred, with scrap metal recycling or demolition experience beneficial.

The role emphasizes safety, load securement, daily logs, and following dispatch instructions in a dynamic environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• End dump knowledge is an asset.

Position Overview

ABC Recycling Ltd. is seeking a Class 1 Truck Driver to operate our trucks hauling scrap metal to and from different locations to our Fort St John, B.C. location. Occasionally, you may need to haul material to and from other ABC locations and partner companies.

The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record along with experience operating roll-off trucks, self-loading cranes such as hi-abs, and body jobs. The ability to complete daily logs and reports and carry out the instructions is also essential.
