Job summary

Arrow Workforce Solutions is seeking a skilled Mold Maker to design tooling, generate 3D models and detailed drawings, and produce clear documentation for manufacturing teams in Toronto. The candidate will translate layouts into solid models, maintain files per standards, and manage projects from start to finish.

Ideal applicants have 4–5 years in tooling or mold design, strong CAD skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Mold Maker Certificate.
• 4–5 years of tooling, mold design, or related manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in CAD and basic solid modeling.
• Strong understanding of plastics and mechanical principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Lean manufacturing experience is an asset.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Word and Excel; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models, tool drawings, and supporting documentation per customer requirements.
• Translate dimensional layouts into a solid-model environment and provide accurate information to manufacturing.
• Maintain proper file handling, storage, and documentation per company standards.
• Prepare clear, accurate, and precise technical documentation.
• Follow drawing control and release procedures.
• Work independently and manage projects or tasks through to completion.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and internal teams to ensure tooling requirements are met.
