Commissionaires Nova Scotia is seeking a part-time Security Guard - Cashier at the Cobequid Pass Toll Plaza in the Northern District (Great Village, NS). The role includes toll collection, vehicle classification, and responding to alarms within a high-traffic environment.

Qualifications

• Superior attention to detail with very good verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Computer literacy, and/or an aptitude to learn, is an asset

Responsibilities

• Protecting people, property, and information
• Toll collections
• Classification of vehicles
• Reporting to shift and site supervisor
• Monitoring and responding to alarms and security systems
• Ensuring the health and safety in the workplace
• Adhering to CNS’s Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, systems, and practices
• Respecting CNS policies, Site Work Instructions, and the Site Supervisor’s direction
• Other functions may include reception/administration, reporting, emergency management and access control
