Job summary

PeoplePilot in Longueuil, QC is seeking a Process Planner - TMS to support manufacturing operations on-site. The role involves acting as the technical SME for Torque Management Systems across assembly sites, managing controller, tools, inventory, licenses, and system versions.

Travel to Mirabel, Toronto, and Lethbridge may be required up to 50% of the time. You will develop TMS best practices, assist with governance and long-term strategy, and lead continuous-improvement initiatives related to

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT/manufacturing systems or process planning.
• Experience with torque systems, torque tools, and torque methodology is preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T, assembly processes, and assembly tools.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
• CATIA experience is an asset.
• Mechanical Engineering background is an asset.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical subject-matter expert for Torque Management Systems across assembly sites.
• Manage TMS controller, tool, inventory, system-version, and license records.
• Develop and maintain TMS best practices, documentation, and operational cookbooks.
• Support TMS governance and long-term system strategy.
• Lead continuous-improvement initiatives involving TMS, induction heating, and related integration systems.
• Serve as the point of contact for TMS Andon systems; monitor quality, productivity, and efficiency indicators and implement solutions.
• Participate in TMS testing through production implementation.
• Support planning and design of manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Assist with improvements to production methods, manufacturing capacity, and production schedules.
