Job summary

Fountain Tire Prince George is seeking a responsible Automotive Tire Technician to join our team. You will install, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger and light trucks in a clean, safe environment.

We offer competitive wages of 23 to 28 per hour, benefits including health, dental, and vision, RRSP with company matching, training and advancement opportunities, and employee discounts. Overtime is available during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in the automotive/tire industry.
• Customer-service focus with ability to develop relationships with customers.
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory record.

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, rotate, and repair tires and wheels for passenger and light trucks.
• Reset and repair TPMS (tire pressure monitoring systems).
• Maintain tire service equipment on a regular schedule.
• Complete specialty tire work such as studding, retread, or nitrogen services.
• Assist in inventory management and annual counts.
• Maintain a safe work environment for self and coworkers.
