Job summary

Fountain Tire Edmonton is seeking a responsible and dedicated Automotive Tire Technician to join our team. You will install, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger and light trucks, maintain TPMS, and help keep equipment in top condition.

Qualifications

• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers.
• A keen attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms.

Responsibilities

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts.
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe.
