Job summary

LKQ Canada is seeking a Tire Technician to join our team in Niagara Falls. This permanent full-time role offers a starting wage of $21.50 per hour, with full benefits coverage after 3 months and a pension plan. Monday to Friday schedule and opportunities for growth are provided.

You will operate tire-related equipment, assess tires and wheels, follow safety policies, and communicate repairs to customers. Strong teamwork and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive parts.
• Hands-on job experience.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently use the equipment for tires such as the balancer and mounting equipment.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and materials are safely handled.
• Recognize acceptable and defective tires and wheels and mark them as appropriate.
• Explain to customers when to repair or replace tires and wheels.
