Job summary

LKQ Canada is seeking a Tire Technician to join our team in Niagara Falls, ON. This full-time, on-site role offers starting wages at $21.50 CAD/hour with full benefits after 3 months and a pension plan.

You will operate tire equipment, inspect tires, wheels, and perform mounting and balancing while adhering to safety and company policies. Ideal candidates have knowledge of automotive parts, hands-on experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive parts and maintenance procedures.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and ability to operate tire equipment.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and in a team setting.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Use tire balancer and mounting equipment to install tires and wheels.
• Maintain and handle equipment and materials safely.
• Identify good vs. defective tires and wheels and document work performed for customers.
• Explain repairs or replacements to customers and follow company policies.
• Perform related duties as assigned and support team objectives.
