Kal Tire in Salmon Arm is seeking a Tire Technician to support daily shop service, including installing, repairing, and maintaining tires. This temporary role offers full- and part-time hours for the contract duration.

You’ll work with a safety-first team, operate tire service equipment, and help keep the shop organized and efficient. The position emphasizes hands-on training and reliability in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs repeatedly and stay active throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Team-oriented with a practical, safety-first approach.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, rotate, balance, and repair tires
• Safely operate tire service equipment and tools
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify required services
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE at all times
• Support the team to keep workflow efficient and on schedule
