Job summary

Kal Tire in Surrey, BC is hiring a Tire Technician to support day-to-day shop service, installing, repairing, and maintaining tires. This temporary position offers both full-time and part-time hours for the contract duration and places you on a safety‑minded team that takes pride in getting the job done right.

You will work on tire service equipment, rotate and balance tires, inspect vehicles, and follow safety procedures with PPE.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly and stay active.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, rotate, balance, and repair tires.
• Safely operate tire service equipment and tools.
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify required services.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
• Support the team to keep workflow efficient and on schedule.
