Kal Tire in British Columbia is hiring a Tire Technician to support day-to-day shop work, including installing, repairing, and maintaining tires. This is a temporary position with full-time and part-time hours available for the contract duration.

You will join a safety-first team that values hands-on training and teamwork to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs repeatedly and stay active throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Team-oriented with a practical, safety-first approach.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, rotate, balance, and repair tires.
• Safely operate tire service equipment and tools.
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify required services.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
• Support the team to keep workflow efficient and on schedule.
