Job summary

Fountain Tire Timmins is seeking an experienced Automotive Tire Technician to join our safety‑minded team. You will install, balance, and rotate tires for passenger and light truck wheels, participate in WHMIS, TIA and other safety training, and help keep customers safe on the road.

We offer competitive starting pay of $18 per hour (based on experience), health, dental and vision benefits with RRSP matching, plus training and advancement opportunities and regular shifts with overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of tire service experience.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting ~55 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, and rotate passenger, light truck, and wheels
• Complete safety courses including WHMIS, TIA, Job Hazard Assessment, and Customer Experience Standards
• Maintain tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Complete specialty tire work (studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.)
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• Pride in the work you've done keeping customers safe and on the road, site or field!

Fountain Tire Timmins a reputable full-service repair facility, is immediately looking for a responsible, experienced, and safety conscious associate to join our team as an Automotive Tire Technician!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install, balance, and rotate passenger, light truck, and wheels
• Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including WHMIS, TIA, Job Hazard Assessment, and Customer Experience Standards
• The responsibilityto keep yourself and your coworkers safe
• Maintain tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Complete specialty tire work, which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• Pride inthe work you've done keeping your customerssafe and on the road, site or field!

Working conditions:

• A team environment where hard work, concise communication and clear heads are rewarded
• Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 55lbsis required
• This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc and we need someone who willbe up for the challenge
• This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching or kneeling

Qualifications:

• We are looking for an experienced tire professional who can hit the ground running!
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• A valid driver's license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstract
• Excellent customer service skills and a great attitude are essential
