Job summary

LKQ Canada is seeking a Delivery Driver to join its team in Manitoba. This is a permanent full-time role, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with starting pay of 21.50 CAD per hour.

You will perform safety checks, load/unload, and deliver parts to customers, while maintaining accurate paperwork and customer interactions. Ideal candidates have at least one year of driving and warehouse experience, a valid Class 5 license with air brake endorsement, and the ability to use a smartphone for apps.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year driving and warehouse operations experience.
• Valid Class 5 license with air brake endorsement.
• Knowledge of replacement parts for the collision repair industry preferred.
• Ability to learn the company's warehouse and delivery methods.
• Basic math and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks and maintenance validations for the company vehicle.
• Operate the company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner.
• Load the truck at the branch and verify paperwork.
• At delivery, confirm order with customer, unload and verify product, obtain signature and payment.
• Note on manifests and provide receipts for returned parts.

All company vehicles are equipped with telematics cameras,Operate the company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner,Physically load the company truck at the branch and verify the condition of the truck, the manifest and other paperwork associated with the deliveries to be made,At delivery destination, confirm order with customer, unload and verify product, obtain confirmation signature and payment from customer,Make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts on parts being returned from customers to the branch,Collect accounts receivable, as necessary,Work in such a manner as to prevent shortages and damage to products, andAssume other duties as assigned.What is the profile we are looking for?Minimum one (1) year driving and warehouse operations experience,Possess a valid class 5, or greater, driver's license WITH AIR BRAKE ENDORSEMENT and safe driving record,Knowledge of replacement parts for the collision repair industry desired,Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with the Company's warehouse and delivery methods, techniques, and procedures,Possess the ability to perform basic math calculations, effectively communicate with customers/peers/supervisors, and proficiently use smartphone and/or tablet, andMust be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.Job RequirementsKnowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of replacement parts for the collision repair industry. Requires sitting for relatively long periods of time, while driving.
