Job summary

Kal Tire in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking a Tire Technician to perform tire installation, repair, and maintenance in a busy shop. This temporary role offers full-time or part-time hours for the contract duration and emphasizes teamwork and safety in daily operations.

You will work on tire service tasks, learn hands-on skills, and contribute to keeping operations running smoothly while adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly and stay active throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Team-oriented with a practical, safety-first approach.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

As a Tire Technician, you’ll support the day-to-day service work in the shop, installing, repairing, and maintaining tires while helping keep operations running smoothly. This is a temporary position with full-time and part-time hours available for the duration of the contract.

Store Details

• Locations: 1275 MAIN ST E & 405 CONCESSION ST
• Hours of Operation:
  • Monday - Friday: 7:30 to 18:00
  • Saturday: 8:00 to 17:00
• Multiple Training Dates Starting: October 27th, 2026

Shifts will be scheduled within store operating hours and may include weekends.
