Job summary

Kal Tire in Burnaby, BC, is seeking a Tire Technician to support daily shop tasks, installing, repairing and maintaining tires while contributing to a safe, efficient work environment.

This temporary role offers both full-time and part-time hours, with hands-on training and a collaborative team focused on getting the job done right. Weekend shifts may be required during the contract period.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs repeatedly and stay active throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Team-oriented with a practical, safety-first approach.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

As a Tire Technician, you’ll support the day-to-day service work in the shop, installing, repairing, and maintaining tires while helping keep operations running smoothly. This is a temporary position with full-time and part-time hours available for the duration of the contract.

  • Monday to Saturday: 08:00 - 17:00
• Multiple Training Dates Starting: September 14, 2026

Shifts will be scheduled within store operating hours and may include weekends.
