Job summary

Kal Tire in Duncan, BC is seeking a hands-on Tire Technician to support daily shop service work, installing, repairing, and maintaining tires while keeping operations running smoothly. This temporary, but full-time/part-time role offers hands-on training and a collaborative, safety-first team environment.

Responsibilities include tire installation, removal, rotation, balancing, and repair, plus operating tire service equipment and inspecting vehicles for needed services.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs repeatedly and stay active throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Team-oriented with a practical, safety-first approach.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

As a Tire Technician, you’ll support the day-to-day service work in the shop, installing, repairing, and maintaining tires while helping keep operations running smoothly. This is a temporary position with full-time and part-time hours available for the duration of the contract.

• Hours of Operation:
  • Monday to Friday: 7:30 - 18:00
  • Saturday: 8:00 - 17:00
  • Sunday: Closed
  • Multiple Training Dates Starting: September 14, 2026

Shifts will be scheduled within store operating hours and may include weekends.
