Job summary

Dixie Toyota in Mississauga, ON is seeking a reliable Tire Assistant to join our Service Department. This entry-level role offers hands-on learning alongside experienced technicians and everyday opportunities to grow in the automotive field.

You will help with mounting and dismounting tires, organizing inventory, and assisting service advisors during check-ins and the drive-through. A Grade 12 diploma and a willingness to learn are important.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary education is an asset.
• Basic automotive knowledge or hands‑on experience is an asset, but not required.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Team‑oriented with good communication skills.
• Self‑motivated and able to take initiative.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

As a Tire Assistant, you will support our Service Department and experienced technicians with a variety of hands‑on tasks, including:

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and meeting deadlines

• Ability to work 40 hours per week, including Saturdays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks, including moving tires throughout the day
• Valid Ontario G or G2 driver's licence required
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
